Just as pictured above but due to bitterness, I added 3 small oranges. It neutralized the bitterness and made the juice taste really well.

Carrots, Cucumber, Celery, Apple

3 tall carrots
2 medium length cucumbers
1/2 a bunch of celery (6 medium stalks)
1 apple

Yields 20 fluid ounces of juice

Refreshing with a small hint of sweetness

So today I'm watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead because my wife is experiencing chest pain and I need ideas and real life examples of what I as a husband can do to help my wife have a healthier lifesytle. Yeah, my wife at 30 years young is experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath. She also weighs in at about 110lbs standing tall @5'4. . . Talk about a wake up call! As a husband, I'm frightened beyond belief! We have two young kids that need their mommy, so we need to do some major changes in our household like:

Do you ever...

walk around the grocery store and think, "I should eat healthier," so you walk over to the fresh veggies and think, "Which name goes with this one? *looks up at sign and look down to see if you can correspond the veggie to the name* only to be wrong but never even know in the first place?!!  Then you feel at ease when you see the regulars... carrots, potatoes, celery but you still want to know what the deal is with all that greenery, right?

I don't think I am alone in this scenario but am too "scurred" to ask in real life so if you are a secret dummy on the subject of veggies, follow this blog and let's learn together.  Leave comments too if there is something you'd like for me to find out or learn about.
